So it is recommended to watch the movie before starting to play this game. Because there is a connection between the movie and the game.
In this game, you need to fight with villains and supervillains, and complete missions one by one. Developers made this game’s control easier than before, and I will discuss it later.
Everything is similar to part one. But the interesting thing was it looked like open open-world game. You need to find a map for directions and find the mission. As it is an open-world game you will see people and cars on the road while walking or swinging around.

The year of 2014 is a special for the gamers. Because in this year, Game developers surprised with so many attractive games like Dark Souls 2, Far Cry 4, CoD Advance Warfare, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, Wolfenstein, The Evil Within, Thief, Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed Rogue, etc. Besides those games, we also got The Amazing Spiderman 2.
The graphics of most of the games of 2014 are great. But personally, I like The Amazing Spiderman 2’s graphics most. The overall comic vibe of this game is interesting. Even in 2023, you would love the graphics of this game.
We all know that The Amazing Spiderman 1 had a nice customizable graphics system. But for the Amazing Spiderman 2 game, they have added more customization options. It is a great addition for gamers who have low-end PCs, as they can lower the graphics and enjoy playing this game. However, if you have a decent PC you can enjoy playing this game at Full HD.
Gameplay
As I already mentioned The Amazing Spiderman 2 is a third-person single-player game. The main attraction of this game is you can fight with the popular villains, super villains, and their armies as well. Both fighting with hand and using the web are enjoyable. I also enjoyed using the web to shoot villains, cover their bodies, and hang them upside down.
At the start of this game, there will not be unlocked all missions. But whenever you complete a mission the next will be unlocked. You need to play like this and complete missions one by one. After completing all missions you will get all missions unlocked and then you can play whatever missions you want.
I am glad to share that seeing and fighting with supervillains are so enjoyable and this will make you addicted to the game. You would be happy to know that, you can fight with Kraven, Electro, Kingpin, Carnage, and Goblin.
Like the previous Spider-Man game, you need to collect points in this game too. These points will help you upgrade your skills. So you can take more damage and move faster. The Spiderman healing system is the same as the first Amazing Spiderman Game.
Sound and Music
The combination of nice sound effects and good music makes this game enjoyable to play. So please do not mute the sound while playing this game or your experience will be that good. At least use headphones if you don’t want to miss the exciting dialogues and amazing sound effects. Not only this game, but any game can become boring without sound.
Controls
Like before, here you need to play by using both mouse and keyboard together. Mouse is for camera direction and also for swinging, attacking, web striking, and dodging.
You need to use the common keyboard buttons, W, A, S, and D like all other PC games. There are some more buttons required. The additional required buttons will appear on your screen when required. Along with the keyboard you also need to use the mouse while playing this game.
Game Modes
Like the first one, The Amazing Spider Man 2 also has difficulties instead of game modes. You need to choose from three options, Human, Hero, and Superhero. Then you can start playing the chapters one by one and unlock the next missions. After completing the game, all of the available missions will be unlocked and you can play any of the missions you like.
As I have already mentioned, this game has so many of my favorite characters including Carnage, Goblin, Electro, Kraven, and Kingpin. So even after completing the game I still play this game just to fight against my favorite villains.
Recommendation
All the characters in the game were awesome. Developers choose the most famous villains. But I needed something to see which was Wolverine and Spiderman Duo. I wanted to see that they fight together against villains. All over the game is quite nice to play.
