However, you will surely like Jason, if not other characters, as his evolution is the main reason behind the massive popularity of this game.
You will learn survival skills and start loving killing your enemies while playing as Jason because you will try to take revenge and save your friends. You will love this game if you are a hardcore gamer like me. Just think about it for a few seconds, that you are controlling a person who is losing control of himself.

The main thing of this game that I have loved is the killing. Far Cry provides numerous opportunities to attack. While you keep killing your enemies more ways of killing will be unlocked.
In the beginning, I was not even sure how to use a weapon. But after some time, I started getting XP for kills. Then I learned and enjoyed killing with Machete and firing a pistol from a Zipline.

Far Cry has pleasing graphics, but it is not as good as the games we are getting in 2024. But it has one of the best graphics compared to other games released in the same year.
Still, the game is playable in 2024 and years to come. Because only having good graphics can’t make a game better. It’s the complete package that makes a game good and enjoyable to play.
However, let’s come to the point, the graphics are not as bad as they may sound. I am just sharing my experiences after playing it so that you don’t get too many expectations.
Here’s what I have experienced after playing it for three days:
Great visualization: The first thing I liked most was the visualization of a fictional island. Although it’s cartoonist, it felt like I was watching animation movies and the main character was me.
Open world experience: It gives you an open world to explore, experience, and fight with enemies. The trees, mountains, and characters are properly designed. However, it is not as engaging as I was expecting.
Outdated vibe: The facial expression could be better. However, the sound and music cover up the drawbacks. It is still enjoyable without having realistic expression. I still can’t forget the cruel smile of Vas when he killed my friend.
Let’s conclude it, in short, the graphics quality is not up to the mark. You may need to change the graphics settings to max to have a decent experience. However, I still recommend you give it a try.
Far Cry 3 Game Sounds and Music
The sound effects have a huge impact on the popularity of this game. It helped me feel the important and tense moments. During fighting moments the sounds are felt so nice and realistic. The sound of piano and sweet melodies made me sad in the emotional moments. The electronic tones made me feel fear, heartbreak, and excitement.
I never thought about the importance of sounds in this game. At the beginning of this game, I had to escape from a hostage situation with one of my friends. But whenever I made any noise, I got caught and killed. And, can’t forget the situation when Vas killed my friend and I was screaming and feeling helpless.
It was just a game but the sound effects made it feel real. At the very beginning, I felt like a teenager having fun with friends. But suddenly it became dark and we were in a bad situation. The sound effects changes in different situations never make me feel bored.

Like most of the first and third-person shooting games, you need to use your mouse and keyboard to play this game. However, you can also use a gamepad. What!!! Playing shooting games with a gamepad, hahaha!
I know, you must be laughing hearing this. However, I am just saying, not recommending as the real gamers know what to use for playing shooting games.

Yes, you read it right. Far Cry 3 also has multiplayer modes with different options to choose from. However, it is not as good as it should be. I don’t know why the developers were too careless about it. It is not as enjoyable at all. However, you may like it as a different person with different tastes in games.
I am not recommending but the rest is up to it. However, you can try the co-op mode if you have 3 or more friends to play with. It doesn’t follow the storyline like the co-op mode of other games. It has a different story and I think it’s a prequel of the main story.
